Prof. (Dr.) Sonia Riyat is Professor and the Head of the Department of Research at ARKA Jain University,
Jharkhand. She is a Ph.D. from Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, UGC-NET (Commerce)
qualified, M.Com and MBA (Finance). She has attended teaching summer school on ‘Accounting &
Finance’ at IIM, Calcutta. Her research interest is in the areas of Corporate Social Responsibility,
Sustainability Development, Corporate Financial Reporting and Financial Statement Analysis. She has
published more than 25 research papers in refereed journals and has presented more than 35 papers in
national – international seminars & conferences.
