Experience and Education

Dr. ChandraPrabha Sahu is an accomplished academic and researcher in Chemistry with over a decade of teaching and research experience. She earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry from NIT Raipur, with a specialized focus on biosorption of toxic elements from wastewater and groundwater. Her research emphasizes sustainable solutions for environmental conservation, including the use of natural biosorbents for heavy metal removal.

She has presented and published extensively at national and international conferences, with her work appearing in reputed journals such as the Asian Journal of Chemistry and Water Environment Research. Dr. Sahu has also delivered keynote talks and actively participated in faculty development programs, workshops, and training sessions.

Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Arka Jain University, Jamshedpur, she continues to guide students and contribute to research in environmental and applied chemistry. Her contributions have been recognized with several awards, including the Young Talent Award (2020), Dynamic Teacher Award (2021), and Best Paper Award (2022).

Beyond academics, Dr. Sahu has coordinated national and international events, workshops, and faculty development programs, showcasing her strong leadership and organizational skills. She is a lifetime member of the Indian Society for Technical Education and remains dedicated to advancing sustainable chemical research and innovative teaching practices.
