Dr. Abhishek Upadhyay is an accomplished academic and seasoned professional with over 16 years of experience in both corporate and academic fields. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management at ARKA JAIN University, Jharkhand, where he has been a part of the faculty since August 2017. Dr. Upadhyay holds a Ph.D. in Management (HRM) and is an MBA Gold Medalist in Human Resource Management from Kolhan University, Jharkhand. He is also a graduate in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Bachelor of Pharmacy). With a strong foundation in Employee Relations, Human Resource & Industrial Relations (HR & IR), Performance Management, Negotiation, and Training, he has developed an in-depth understanding of Labor Laws and Organizational Development. He has also published various research papers, book chapters, and articles in reputed national and international journals, and authored the book titled A Handbook of Management Principles.

In addition to his academic accomplishments, Dr. Upadhyay has had a significant corporate career, where he held key positions such as Head – HR at Management My Talent, Senior Consultant – HR at Randstad India Pvt. Ltd., and Territory Manager at Cipla Ltd. His diverse industry experience has provided him with valuable insights into various HR functions and management practices. Apart from his teaching roles, he has also contributed administratively, serving as the Acting Program Coordinator for the Department of Management’s BBA program at ARKA JAIN University from November 2021 to December 2022. With his rich blend of industry experience and academic expertise, Dr. Upadhyay continues to make valuable contributions in the field of management education.
