Mr. Biswajit Puhan is an Assistant Professor at the School of Pharmacy, Arka Jain University. He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy and a Master of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) from Centurion University of Technology and Management, Bhubaneswar, with excellent academic performance (CGPA 7.91 / 8.89). He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Pharmacy (2024 batch) at Centurion University. He has successfully completed a certification in Advanced Program in Clinical Research & Management from Clini India, Hyderabad, covering Clinical Trials, Clinical Data Management, Pharmacovigilance, and Medical Writing. His research projects include formulation and evaluation of topiramate-loaded in-situ gel for the treatment of angle-closure glaucoma and studies on new drug targeting tuberculosis and herbal drugs for rheumatoid arthritis. He has presented papers and posters at several national and international conferences, including ICMR-sponsored seminars, Indo-Malaysian conferences, and international pharmacy workshops. His academic excellence has been recognized with the Student Excellency Award at Centurion University and 2nd position in team events at CUTM Bhubaneswar. His primary areas of interest include Novel Drug Delivery Systems, Clinical Research, Pharmacovigilance, and Ethnopharmaceuticals. He has expertise in pharmaceutical instrumentation, drug design tools, and regulatory frameworks in pharmacy.
Beyond academics, he has hosted international conferences and actively participates in community outreach. His hobbies include music (drumming), writing, and trekking.
