Abha Vishwakarma

Experience and Education

Abha Vishwakarma is an accomplished educator with over three decades of experience in teaching and academic leadership. She is currently an Assistant Professor at Arka Jain University, Jharkhand, and formerly served as Head Mistress at Kerala Public School, Mango, Jamshedpur. With a strong foundation in Economics, she has held key teaching positions across reputed institutions since 1988. A Fulbright Scholar (2012) at Kent State University, she is a recipient of several national awards including NCERT Innovation Awards (2014, 2018), the Institute of Scholars’ “Teacher of the Year” (2019), and “Pride of the Nation – Pratibha Samman” (2020). Her contributions span beyond academics into publications, poetry, and educational innovation. She has authored chapters on Indian cinema and has been featured on All India Radio. With an M.A. in Economics and a B.Ed from IGNOU, Abha is known for pioneering life skill-based teaching methods and fostering holistic student development.
