ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years as of 31st December of the year in which admission is sought. There is no upper age limit.
- Minimum Educational Qualification:
a) Candidates must be from the Science stream and have passed the 12th Standard (10+2) examination with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together, and must have passed English individually.
b) Candidates from State Open Schools recognized by the respective State Governments and from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) recognized by the Central Government, having studied Science subjects and English, are also eligible.
c) English is a compulsory subject at the 10+2 level for eligibility to the B.Sc. (Nursing) program. - Colour-blind candidates are eligible, provided they wear colour-corrective contact lenses or spectacles.
- Candidates must be medically fit.
- Married candidates are also eligible for admission.
- Admissions shall be conducted once a year.
- Selection of candidates will be based on merit in the entrance examination conducted by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB).
- A valid JCECEB scorecard is mandatory.
- For candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories, the minimum required marks in the three core subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) shall be 40%, as opposed to 45% for candidates in the General category.
