The 70th Republic Day of India was celebrated with gaiety and patriotic fervour at Arka Jain University amidst the foggy morning of 26th January, 2019. The ceremony took place in the presence of Mr. Amit Srivastav, Director, AJU, Dr. S. S Razi, VC AJU, Mr Jasbir Dhanjal, Registrar AJU, Dr Angad Tiwary, Dean AJU, the Programme Coordinators of various departments, faculty, staff members and students.

The ceremony commenced with the ceremonial escorting of the guests to the university ground at 9:15 am followed by unfurling of the National Flag by theVC, Dr S. S. Razi. This was accompanied by the rendition of National Anthem . Dr S. S. Razi addressed the gathering and highlighted the achievements of the university. The programme moved forward with the inspirational and motivational speeches of students in English and Hindi. The energetic dance performance by the students filled the crowd with great energy and enthusiasm. The heartfelt renditions of patriotic songs aroused feelings of love and brotherhood among all.

As a part of AJU’s tradition, the school students of Mohanpur were invited to participate in the ceremony. The hour long ceremony culminated with the sweets distribution at 10:20 am.
