B.Sc IT is a 3-year undergraduate programme. It is extended over six semesters. The B.Sc. IT program of AJU is designed to provide basic inputs for a broad understanding of IT and its interfaces. Our primary focus is on “Information Technology and Management of IT”. Today, smart, successful businesses use IT to give them an extra-edge to stay ahead of competition. IT is soon becoming a ‘driver’ rather than an ‘Enabler’ of business. It is used for processes like Office-Automation, Management Information Systems for fast decision making, R&D, re-engineering and organizational transformation. The program takes the students beyond computer skills to Telecommunication systems and Networking to e-commerce, Internet Security and Enterprise Resource Planning. This program will give a strategic advantage to the future Indian Manager. Information Technology stream offers a lot of job opportunities for the graduates. With tremendous developments made in the field of Information Technology, the need for trained professionals has also increased over the years. Various companies require professionals who can manage their sensitive data in a secure way. This course covers all the technical aspects such as software, database, networking etc.
