ARKA JAIN University, Jamshedpur set to host National Optometry Conference

ARKA JAIN University (AJU), Jamshedpur is gearing up to host a two day National Optometry Conference that will bring together leading practitioners and academics from the domain. To be held on 20 th and 21 st September, 2019 the conference themed ‘Recent Trends and Challenges in Vision Care’ has been organized by the Department of Optometry, School of Health & Allied Science of the University. It aims to promote discussions around the latest in the field through engaging sessions.

ARKA JAIN University is the 1st private university of Jharkhand (Kolhan region) established by the Jharkhand State Legislature. Recognized by the UGC, the university strategically located near the Steel City of India, leverages its industry network to facilitate informative platforms. This conference is another such initiative that will have crucial takeaways for professionals, faculty members as well as students from different organizations in the field.

The Department of Optometry at ARKA JAIN University (AJU) was established with the goal of providing top quality theoretical and practical learning experiences for aspirants in the field. Through interactive teaching learning experience and emphasis on research, it nurtures future pioneers of Optometry.
