The contemporary global order is such that it makes things at our disposal challenging-yet-rewarding. The professional approach that we, at ARKA JAIN University, Jharkhand; adopt towards providing quality higher education to our students ensures instilling the right set of fundamentals in them.
ARKA JAIN University was established in the year 2017 by the Jharkhand State Legislature under “The ARKA JAIN University Act” and is recognized by UGC. It is the first state private university in the Kolhan region (comprising of three districts, namely, East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum and Saraikela-Kharsawan) of the state.
AJU has been accredited with ‘A’ Grade by NAAC in the first cycle, the first state private university in Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal to have this distinction.
The University has its root in the prestigious JAIN Group, Bengaluru which has 77-plus educational institutions under its fold. It is mentored by JAIN (Deemed-to-Be-University), Bengaluru, a NAAC A++ and NIRF Top-100 HEI.
The university has affiliations, recognitions and memberships from such statutory, affiliating and government bodies as AICTE, BCI, PCI, OCI, INC, JNRC, AIU, ASCO India. We are an ISO (Standard EOMS 21001:2018)-certified University. AJU has been ranked 3rd in the “Top-15 Emerging Private Universities in India” category in the prestigious Outlook iCare University Ranking 2023.
5000-plus students, 35-plus programmes (at diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels), 7 schools, Research & Development Cell, and 175-plus faculty members are the hallmark of the University. Programmes are offered in the domains of engineering, technology, management, commerce, biotechnology, pharmacy, optometry, allied healthcare, nursing, English, mass communication, fashion design, law, research.
The University has 60-plus MoUs with global, national, regional and local academic and industry partners.
2000-plus job offers have been made by 500-plus companies till date with an average package of ₹3.2 LPA and highest package of ₹23 LPA.
Students get extra-curricular and co-curricular avenues in the form of cultural and technical fests like Aagaaz and Technika along with other annual Celebrations and meets such as Roshni, Holi Invasion, Runbhoomi, Saraswati Pooja, Yuva, Navotsav, Aarambh, JAIN Premier League, Roo-b-roo, Rukhsat. The annual excursion Caarvaan helps them to assimilate with the diverse cultural set-ups of the country.
AJU NCC, NSS, Rotaract, Toastmasters International along with other School/Department-level Clubs provide students with numerous opportunities to associate with various social causes along with grooming their personality for a holistic approach towards education and self-development.

ABOUT THE VICE CHANCELLOR
Dr Easwaran Iyer, a Double Doctorate in Management from India and USA, has also completed his M. Phil, MBA, PGDBM, M. Com, LLB & B. Com (Hons). He is having an overall experience of 48 Years with 29 years of industry experience & 19 Years of experience in academia. Currently associated with ARKA JAIN University in the capacity of its Vice Chancellor, he has co-authored 32 Journal Publications, 8 Research Publications with indexed Journals. Nominated as member to the All India Management Association (AIMA), Assessor in the revised framework of NAAC, he has visited various Higher Education Institutions for NAAC Assessment, initially as a member, then Coordinator and presently as Chairperson. He has been bestowed with the Best Teacher award from Rotary for 3 consecutive Years from Bangalore and Guwahati. He is a member of AIMA, Member Trustee in India Economic Association, Member of National Human Resource Development Network. He has worked as the Pro-Vice Chancellor of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Bengaluru; Head-Chancellor’s Advisory Board, JAIN (Deemed-to-Be-University); Member-President’s Advisory Board, Jain Group of Institutions among other capacities.
