Jamshedpur, August 12, 2019: Built across 25 acres of sprawling green, Jamshedpur’s first private university- ARKA JAIN University, Jamshedpur welcomed its Class of 2019 through 2 weeks’ activity packed, engaging and informative induction program starting from 29th July, 2019. The 2 weeks’ program held to help students from its different schools acquaint with its new age learning methods, their peers and faculty members and also saw the presence of experts from various arenas.
The emerging, AICTE approved and UGC recognized university, offers an array of programs across its 5 schools. The Induction program has been the steppingstone for students of new batches of School of Commerce and Management, School of Legal Studies, School of Engineering and IT, School of Humanities, and School of Health and Allied Science.
Dr. Kesavananda Das, Chairman GYST, ISKON delivered a talk on Life Management and Leadership Skills on 7th August to the new class. In his inspiring session, as one of the highlights of the program, he stressed on the importance of transition for negativity to being positive. Mr. Chandrasekhar Khan then spoke about Enhancing Personal Effectiveness for the benefit of students.
ARKA JAIN University realizes the importance of holistic growth of students in their transformation into sensible professionals of tomorrow. That’s why a workshop on Yoga and Mediation conducted by experts Mr. Sapan and Mr. Jitu was an integral part of the program. It helped freshers understand the importance of yoga and unwinding through taxing schedules.
Numerous immersive and engaging sessions like Story Munch, Jugaad – A Tool of opportunity, teambuilding activities etc., were part of the induction program called Pahel, as hosted by the School of Humanities and Udyam, as hosted by the School of Commerce & Management. The events held crucial takeaways for students, who also learned while having fun, which is the part of the experience at ARKA JAIN University.
Business bigwigs Mr. Santosh Kumar, Author and Entrepreneur, Head, M’ma Organic Farms, Mr. Avinash Dugar, Entrepreneur, Founder, La Gravitea, Mr. Punit Kauntia, Director, Inline Control and Equipment Pvt. Ltd along with renowned personalities from different fields offered valuable insights for students of Udyam, the School of Commerce and Management.
It was a thoughtful, energetic and enlightening start for freshers who are now all set to be part of the legacy of the JGI Group. As the foundation has been laid now, through the course of their programs they will be molded and shaped into industry professionals, academics, researchers, entrepreneurs and leaders of tomorrow.
