Dr. Kuldip Kumar Sahu has completed his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from NIT Jamshedpur in 2022 under the Department of Production and Industrial Engineering. His doctoral research was on “Fabrication and Characterization of Al-Based Surface Hybrid Composite by Friction Stir Process.” The research involved material selection for surface composites, fabrication, microstructural and mechanical characterization, and exploration of application areas for the developed composites. This work provided him with a strong foundation in advanced manufacturing processes, materials engineering, and applied industrial engineering, while also addressing real-world industrial needs in lightweight and high-performance materials.
