Dr. Md Irfan Ahmed is currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator of Diploma in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department and Computer Science and Engineering Department at ARKA JAIN University Jharkhand. With a strong academic and research background, he has accumulated 9 years of experience in teaching and research. He is also an active member of esteemed professional organizations, including the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) and the International Association of Engineers (IAENG). He plays a significant role as a reviewer for several prestigious journals and conferences, such as Process Integration and Optimization for Sustainability, Sustainable Energy, Grids and Networks, Journal of the Institution of Engineers (India) Series B, Energy and AI, and Energy Systems. His research work has been widely published in well-regarded journals, including e-Prime – Advances in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Energy, Recent Advances in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Strategic Planning for Energy and the Environment, Distributed Generation & Alternative Energy Journal, International Journal of Ambient Energy, and Smart Science. Dr. Ahmed received the bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering from MITS Rayagada, Orissa in 2009, the master’s degree in power system engineering from National Institute of Technology Patna in 2014, and received the Ph.D. from National Institute of Technology Patna, Bihar India in the year of 2023. His current research interests lie in the areas of electricity markets, distributed generation, power system economics,and Electric Vehicle & its charging Infrastructure where he continues to contribute to the academic community.
