Dr. Nidhi Dua is an Assistant Professor at the School of Engineering & IT, Arka Jain University, Jamshedpur, India. She holds a Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from NIT Jamshedpur, where her doctoral research focused on deep learning-based human activity recognition using wearable sensors.

Her research interests span Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Human Activity Recognition, Pattern Recognition, Gait Analysis, Computer Vision, IoT, and Embedded Systems. She has published multiple SCIE-indexed research papers in reputed international journals, including Computing, Multimedia Tools & Applications, and IEEE Sensors Journal.

Dr. Dua has a blend of academic and industry experience, having worked as an R&D Engineer at Nokia Siemens Networks and serving as a faculty member in engineering institutions. She has taught a wide range of subjects including Digital Electronics, Computer Architecture, Computer Networks, and Neural Networks & Deep Learning.
