Dr. Urvashi Thakur – HOD & Associate Professor

Dr. Urvashi Thakur is the Head of Department and Associate Professor at ARKA Jain University, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India. She holds a Ph.D. in Management (Human Resource Management) and an MBA in Human Resource and Marketing. With extensive academic and administrative experience, she specializes in Human Resource Management and teaches courses including Organizational Behavior, Managing Diversity at Workplace, Manpower Planning Recruitment & Selection, and Human Resource Management.

She has played a pivotal role in organizing seminars, workshops, industrial visits, and student development programs. As a professional Ph.D. guide, she has mentored scholars and contributed significantly to research and publications. She is also the author of the book Narratives of the Future I: Exploring the Intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Media, and Management.
