Ms. Sarmili Sahoo has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the School of Health and Allied Sciences, ARKA JAIN University, since May 2024. She is a faculty member in the Department of Pharmacy, where she teaches Pharmaceutics to undergraduate students, covering both theoretical and practical aspects. Alongside her teaching responsibilities, she actively engages in mentoring students on academic projects, laboratory practices, and innovative approaches in pharmaceutical sciences. She also contributes to curriculum development and quality assurance processes of the department. She completed her Bachelor of Pharmacy from Sri Jaydev College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, and earned her Master’s in Pharmaceutics from ISF College of Pharmacy, Moga, Punjab (NIRF Rank-25), with a strong academic record. Her research interests include pharmaceutics, formulation development, novel drug delivery systems, and optimization techniques for improved therapeutic outcomes. She has also undergone hands-on training in advanced formulation techniques and is continuously involved in upgrading her knowledge through faculty development programs, workshops, and professional certifications. With publications in reputed journals, including research and review articles, along with a book chapter, she has also strengthened her academic profile by holding a patent. Her passion for both education and research makes her a valuable asset to the School of Pharmacy. With her knowledge, innovative outlook, and academic achievements, she continues to inspire students to pursue excellence and innovation in pharmaceutical sciences.
