Experience and Education

Ujwal Prakash brings over 20 years of experience, including 14 years in industry and 6+ years in academia, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Economics at BHU. A Gold Medalist in MA (Economics), University Topper in MPhil (Economics), and College Topper in BA (Economics), he also holds an MBA in HRM with distinction. His academic achievements include qualifying GATE 2021 (IIT Bombay), securing 1st position in MPhil entrance, AIR 48 in the BHU PhD entrance, and receiving an MPhil research fellowship from the prestigious World Buddha Foundation active in 20 countries across the world. Ujwal’s research spans economics, consumer behavior, labor studies, game theory, econometrics and artificial intelligence. His specialization includes mathematical economics, econometrics, developmental economics and HRM. He has received multiple accolades including the Research Excellence Award, AIR 4 in a National Research Paper Competition, two Best Paper Awards at international conferences, and the Excellence in Innovative Teaching Award. He has contributed as a resource person in FDPs, SDPs, and teacher’s training programs, and has won the Book Review Competition. As an accomplished author and journal reviewer, he has written several research papers, including publications in SCOPUS-indexed, UGC CARE-listed journals and has received critical appreciation from the editor of a reputed academic journal based in the USA for his research contribution.
