UNION BUDGET ANALYSIS 2019- A WAY FORWARD FOR THE INDIAN ECONOMY

Economics Department of ARKA JAIN University, Jamshedpur organized a Seminar on Union Budget 2019 on 6th Feb, 2019. Students of BA (Hons.) Economics- Sem II and Sem IV gave their powerpoint presentations on different topics like key highlights of budget, Winners and Losers in Union Budget, Railway Budget, Union Budget- A Common Man Triumph, Union Budget- Agriculture and Rural Development. They also highlighted the allocations being made in the Union Budget to all the sectors of the economy. All the students of Department of Humanties were the audience. At last, it was open for all for discussion. Dr. Gurinder Kaur concluded the session by giving her viewpoints on the Union Budget- 2019. Dr. Pompi Das Sengupta appreciated the efforts put in by students. The main objective of the Seminar was to enlighten the students about various aspects of the Union Budget- 2019.
