Department of english, arka jain university conducted its first session in explorica on 13th february 2019 in the university auditorium. The event commenced with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm. It was judged by mrs. Rajkumari ghosh (programme co-ordinator), dr. Rupa sarkar (sr. Lecturer) and mr. Joydeep mukherjee (sr. Lecturer) the students of sem iv had participated to present a short thesis on the various poets and writers ranging from the romantic era to modern era. The students of sem ii were also present as audience. Explorica intends to foster a student’s literary and oratory skills. It is an initiative by the department of english.
