He has Graduated from Calcutta University and done his Post- Graduation from Ranchi University. As a faculty with teaching experience of 17 (seventeen years) having taught in several reputed schools of the city, his core subjects include Economic Applications, Commercial Applications, Commerce, Economics and Accountancy.

His role as an academician extents to him having been the Supervising Examiner for ICSE for two consecutive year.

His professional experience in the corporate sector has been for almost two and half years having worked for CMIE (Center for Monitoring Indian Economy) during which he was posted in XLRI.

He has been the moderator of SAFE CLUB and G.K CLUB in his previous institution. He is interested in quizzing and has hosted several quizzes, important among which is the ASISC quiz for which he has been the quiz master for the last two years.

Stamps especially ones with orchids is his other interest area. He has a won a silver medal at the Philately Exhibition at State Level and as well as qualified to participate at the all India level.
