ARKA JAIN University has fostered a vibrant sporting tradition since its inception, carrying forward the legacy of the illustrious JAIN Group, Bengaluru, our umbrella identity.

Just as JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) hosted the prestigious Khelo India National Inter University Games 2021 and emerged victorious, ARKA JAIN University is dedicated to nurturing sporting excellence among its students.

Our annual sports meet, Runbhoomi, is a testament to this commitment. Held over three to four days, it witnesses outstanding performances from athletes from across the university who compete in a diverse range of indoor and outdoor sports keeping the sportsperson spirit above all else. The event transcends mere competition, often graced by the presence of distinguished sports figures as both officials and guests. This interaction provides invaluable inspiration and guidance to our aspiring athletes. The annual meet is organized keeping the Fit India initiative of Govt. of India into consideration.Beyond Runbhoomi, the pulsating Jain Premier League ignites competitive spirit with a T-20 style cricket tournament. Also, the University frequently organizes inter university and college competitions in various sports categories like Basketball among others.

Our students consistently demonstrate their prowess at various inter-university competitions, triumphing at institutions like IIT-ISM Dhanbad, IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur, NIT Jamshedpur, and even excelling in national, state-level, and regional events.

Our students displayed phenomenal athletic prowess at Khelotsav, the state-level sports meet organized by Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi on more than one occasions. Their talents shone brightly, securing them the overall runner-up position in one edition while another edition was filled with exceptional performances.

International success stories are not uncommon either, as witnessed by our students’ victories in the Indo-Nepal Handball Competition. This dedication extends to individual sports as well, with students participating in national-level competitions for disciplines like Taekwondo and Table Tennis.

JAIN Group’s commitment to sports excellence has been further recognized by the Honourable President of India. Our esteemed Chancellor, Dr. Chenraj Roychand, was conferred with the prestigious Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar 2023 for his whole-hearted approach towards promoting sports at all levels.
